Patrick Buchanan - Cadet of Leny

Nothing is known about Patrick other than that he was a Cadet of  Leny. His arms are of interest in that they show clearly his Leny connection differenced by the use of a bordure counter company Argent and  Gules.

The motto reflecting that of Leny. Leny – “Audaces Juvo” ( I assist the bold ); Patrick – “Juvabitur Audax” ( delight in the bold )

The arms are recorded in Lyon Register Volume 1, Page 255, date uncertain, but seems to be between 1676 – 1693.
