The Buchanan of Arnprior coat of arms show a lion holding the ring.

This and all the other new heraldic images have been kindly drawn up by the excellent heraldic artist Thomas Freeman, who is the husband of Beth Gay, former editor of the Buchanan Banner. They are based on the wording provided by Lord Lyon. 

The pennon for Buchanan of Arnprior is a flag which can be used by the representer of a territorial clan line. Again it shows the Arnprior part which is the ring held by the Buchanan lion.
